This picture shows the buggers in this story. The bugger is what ender is training to go to war to fight. The buggers are some nasty creates that destroy earth and hurt the people. Ender is one tuff kid to go fight for his planet against the buggers. I don’t think there’s going to be a war because they have been training for many years and there hasn’t even been anything happen yet.

I like this class but it’s had its downs. The game is starting to get harder and harder. I like to learn everything there is to learn about making games but I am not that good on computer. I hope I can get most of it done to pass the class because I don’t think I can do it again. It’s been tough on me to get this far so I have to make it the rest.

I didn’t do much over the spring break but work. I had my share of hard work last week. I rode four wheeler a lot after work when I had time. I even did a little mushroom hunting and found a few. Work was a pain in the butt I had a lot to do like tear down six wheel units and wash them. It was a pain but a lot better than being at school all week. I think it was a well needed vacation for everyone in school including the teachers and principle. I had a good spring break and would like to have a one this week to.

2. Ender is given Dragon army. What is the significance of this? How old is he now?

Ender is now 9 years old and has his own team.  This boy is the best at the game and that way they choose him to put the Dragon army in to shape.

What is Graff worried about?

Graff is worried that Ender what fight or lose his skills in the battle room.  Graff brings Valentine to help him out.

7. What is really unusual about the battle with Salamander Army? "This had not been a fair fight, even though they had won - the teachers had intended them to lose ..."

They think by cheating they are going to beat Ender’s team.  It don’t happen that way Ender has a few skills up his sleeve.

  WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!) Math addition subtraction

  WHERE does your game happen?

  Describe the world you will design for your game. In a forest trees everywhere and a track going through the middle.

  How will this setting add to the learning experience? Young kid like to play racing games

  HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? At every jump there’s a problem and you have to answer the problem to go on through

  What happens in the world that helps the player learn? Atv racing

  How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game? To get through the track faster

  WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz? Because it is fun and kid love them.

I think this game that I’m starting to make is going to be pretty fun.  Making the game is going to be a little difficult to make.  For me any way I’m not that good on a computer but I’ve learned a lot sense I start this class.  Some will get it right off the bat but I’m not giving up.  I’ll try my best to get it right.   Design Analysis (Does it look good? Does it clearly illustrate the issue or learning concept?) It looks a little real not perfect but closes.

  Usability Analysis (Is it clear what you need to do as a player? Does it work well?)  Yes it clear and works pretty good.

  Suggestions for improvement. How would you change the gameplay to make the learning and play experience work together better? More animations and characters doing things

My first blog

My name is William Truman and I think this class is going to be fun and challenging.  This class teaches you the basics of the internet.  I think class will be a little hard at first but it will get easier after the class follows though the year. I think that kids should learn about computers in school rather than at a job.  If you learn how to do it in school you'll be prepared for the jobs ahead of your life.
